Well, it was warm, except when it wasn't....which was at the night time Dirt Derby STXC wheel demo we did with ATX's Bicycle Sport Shop.
 

Thursday it was further south in a search for warmth...


Bicycle Heaven hosted one of the more fun road demos we've had in awhile, serving up a few hours of NW San Antonio's best back roads. Low road traffic and far too much tail wind to be legal, I couldn't have asked for a better day to put guys on the 65 clinchers. BH owner Matt Hamlin was aboard one of my favorite looking bikes I've seen done in Bicycle Heaven colorway. The smaller steel tubes look striking in contrast to the bold lines of the deep dish wheels.


Chris Distefano stopped by to visit in Austin and brought his new Chris King Cielo CX bike. Its not too often I see the rims built up on silver spokes, but on the polished King road hub, you'd be hard pressed to find a classier look.
